Description
As librarians and information professionals we are frequently called upon to work on or manage projects, often with little or no formal training in project work.
Reflecting on his work at Royal Holloway, University of London, coordinating the migration of stock from the College’s existing libraries to a new flagship building, David looks at the practicalities of a major stock project, and the lessons that can be learned and applied to projects of all types.
Of interest to librarians contemplating their own major stock projects, or with an interest in project management generally.
